Vintage Sadler Tea Pot, Sugar Bowl and Milk Jug Set
This is a lovely vintage Sadder set comprising of a teapot, sugar bowl and creamer. Manufactured in circa 1937 by James Sadler & Sons (Ltd), Wellington and Central Potteries, Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries, England. The sides of the barrel shaped teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug are decorated with charming romantic scenes of a fine courting couple amidst garden settings which extend to the creamer and sugar bowl. The scene on the teapot is framed by a raised pretty swirl pattern with gold flowers and leaves covering the remaining body. The handles are gently looped and the rims are beautifully scalloped adding a touch of elegance.
