Vintage Royal Albert Lily of the Valley 19 Piece Tea Set

A charming lily of the valley, vintage English tea set, manufactured in circa 1945 by Thomas C. Wild & Sons (Ltd),Longton , England, under the name Royal Albert China.  The 19 piece tea set consists of 4 teacups, 4 saucers, 4 tea plates, a large cake plate, a creamer and sugar bowl.  Each piece has been beautifully decorated with white lily of the valley and pink blooming peonies, which contrasts well against the rich blue background.  The body of all the pieces are gently ribbed with lush gilded scalloped rims.  The teacup is the Montrose shape with a gilded footed base and French looped handle.

Condition: In excellent throughout.  Has had very little use. Beautiful bright colour.  Some slight wear to the gilding on the tips of the teacups.
