Vintage Queen Anne Rose 14 Piece Tea Set

A stunning vintage fine bone china tea set consisting of: 4 teacups, 4 saucers, 4 tea plates, 1 cake/sandwich plate and milk jug.    The set was manufactured in circa 1950's by Shore & Coggins, (Queen Anne), Longton, Staffordshire Potteries, England,  Each piece is decorated with a classic red and white winter rose with little forget-me-nots.  The rims are decorated with lush gold vines of leaves, with the gilding extending to the handles and pedestal bases.

DIMENSIONS:  Teacup height 7cm x diameter 8cm -  Saucer diameter 14cm -  Tea Plate diameter 16cm - Cake Plate diameter 25.5cm -  Milk Jug height 9cm x diameter (from tip of spout to end of handle) 13cm

Condition: In excellent vintage condition.  Nice bright colours. Most of the gilding is intact with a little visible wear around some of the rims, this does not show and is commensurate with older china.
