Victorian Hand Painted Dish

A pretty Victorian porcelain dish,, decorated with hand painted pink blooming roses and purple irises.  The rim of the plate is painted in a turquoise colour with an inner pink thi line running arount the rim.  The plate has two moulded handled each side decorated with pink painted swirl patterns.  The colour turquoise was a rare colour and hard to achieve during the Victorian ear.  The plate dates to circa 1880.

Conditions: In very good antique condition for a plate of 144 years.  There is crazing throughout the plate, this does not affect the quality and is reflective of antique porcelain.
