Imperial 22KT Gold Teacup and Saucer Duo

An exquisite fine bone china teacup and saucer duo, manufactured by Imperial, England.  The duo is decorated with hand painted vibrant orange bands on the outside of the teacup and saucer, which contrasts well against the crisp white background. The inside of the teacup and centre of the saucer are decorated with bold floral motifs of blooming cabbage roses, forget me nots and other pretty English garden flowers. There is a beautiful gold filigree pattern in the base of the teacup, with the gilding extending to the elegant French looped handle and to the pedestal base.  The rims are gilded and gently scalloped adding a touch of richness to the duo

DIMENSIONS Teacup height 7cm x Teacup diameter 8cm -  Saucer diameter 14cm

CONDITION: In excellent condition throughout. There are a few tiny areas of wear to the gilding on the tip of the teacup handle and teacup rim. A tiny firing spot on the outer body of the teacup.  All these are characteristics and commensurate of older china.
