Art Nouveau Antique Hand Painted Tea Set For Two

An antique Art Nouveau organic floral inspired tea set for two people.  Manufactured in circa 1910 - 1920, possibly of European origin.  Made of porcelain, this 9 piece set consists of: 2 teacups, 2 saucers, 2 tea plates, teapot, creamer and cake plate.  The set is decorated with gold details emphasising the pretty hand painted pink bold flowers against a whimsical two tone blue petal and leaf background.  The rims of the teacups, saucers, tea plates and cake plates are gently scalloped and gilded.  The teapot stands tall with an elegant gilded handle with the gilding extending to the finial.  The creamer has a gilded scalloped rim with an elegant gilded handle.
