Antique Haviland Limoges The Princess Tea Set

A pretty antique tea set, consisting of 6 teacups, 6 saucers and 6 tea plates , manufactured by Haviland & Co, Limoges, France.  The trio is made of the finest porcelain and dates to circa 1894 -1900.

Each piece is decorated with delicate hand painted clusters of pink flowers on branches with pale blue ribbon swirls.  The teacup is very light weight, shallow with a wide mouth and a looped  blush gilded handle.  The rim of the teacup, saucer and  tea plate are embossed with raised patterns and the saucer and tea plate rims are gently scalloped.

Condition: This delightful tea set is over 100 years old and is In very good antique condition.  All colours are intact. Possibly a cabinet piece as there is little or no signs of use.
