Antique Coalport Trinket Dish
Antique Coalport Trinket Dish
An antique bone china trinket dish manufactured in circa 1891, Coalport Porcelain Works, Shropshire, England. The Coalport factory was founded by John Rose in 1795, unfortunately it closed down many years ago, and became part of the Wedgwood group.
The dish has a wavy rim and is decorated with an over glazed popular Indian tree pattern. This is beautiful hand painted older piece.
DIMENSIONS: Diameter 13cms
Condition: In very good antique condition. Nice bright colours and intact gilded accents. There are firing spots and a couple tiny stray flicks of paint which are commensurate with older pieces. The underside is slightly rough to the touch.
Back stamp shows the older green Coalport trade mark - England - A.D1750. Impress mark and letter D
