A Pair of Vintage Elegant Mintons Soup Bowls With Saucers

A pretty pair of generous sized soup bowls and saucers, manufactured in circa 1940; by the well respected company Mintons, England.  The soup bowls are elegantly footed with wide rims and pointed looped handles.  The body of the soup bowls and saucers are fluted with decorations of hand painted blooming pink peonies and English garden flowers,.  The rims are gently scalloped and finished in a solid gilt which extends to the handles and the footed base.

Condition: In excellent condition throughout. Nice bright colours with intact gilding.
